I have history of running live streams and recordings of worship sessions, speakers, live bands, events and graduations.

Live Audio

From a single speaker to mixing a full band, I have experience with all using a variety of digital consoles.

Scheduling

I’ve worked with student workers and volunteers to schedule help for weekly events, including audio, lighting, graphics, camera operators, and broadcast. At UMHB, I scheduled support for an average of 600 events each year.

Training

I believe that training volunteers is the best way to make sure things run smoothly and the volunteers feel empowered to make decisions and operate their stations to their fullest potential. Sometimes, that means training during services or outside of service using virtual soundcheck or playback of video recordings.

Recording and creating weekly announcement videos and social media clips. Editing and posting weekly sermon clips and full sermon recordings on social media and podcast apps. Recording and publishing various podcast episodes.

Vista Community Church - Temple, Texas

Director of Facilities & Technology | August 2022 – Present
Oversee Facility usage and routine maintenance, assisting with event setups and maintenance tasks as required, and managing facility contracts with vendors. Oversee a volunteer Safety team, Implement safety policies, coordinating with local officers for security needs, and maintain security and CCTV systems. Manage all campus technology needs including hardware, software, networking, Office365, Google Workspace, and web servers. Plan and implement hardware upgrades including network and video cable runs. Record and create weekly announcement videos and occasional promotional videos. Oversee a volunteer team of photographers and assisting with taking photographs during Sunday services and special events. Coordinate with Production Director to setup, monitor, and record live streaming. Publish messages after events on social platforms, website, and podcasts. Verify media content provided by third parties and ministries is ready and compatible with Production equipment.

Associate Production Director | July 2021 – August 2022
I oversaw a team of 40 regular volunteers and assisted with scheduling for weekly and special events. Oversaw broadcast operations for Sundays and special events. On-call production and technical support for ministries during events. Began creating a volunteer team of photographers to assist in taking photographs for special events. Provided maintenance and installed upgrades on audiovisual equipment across campus. Recorded and created weekly announcement videos as well as specialty videos for Kids and Student ministries. Prepared ProPresenter and ProVideoPlayer presentations for weekly and special events.

Worked with the Production Director to manage broadcast services, assist in recording announcement and special promo videos. Prepared ProPresenter content for ministries. Acted as the interim Production Director from February 2021-July 2021 where I began creating weekly announcement videos, and training and recruiting production volunteers.

Provide on-site audiovisual support for evening and Sunday services. Primarily filled in as audio mixer, camera operator, and lighting programmer.

Supervised team of 8 people to run multiple medium to large audiovisual events across campus. Coordinate 2 weekly chapel services during the semester, coordinated with other departments to plan audiovisual needs for major events. Worked with spiritual life department to create bumper videos for guest speakers and coordinate needs for worship each week.

H-E-B Grocery - Belton, Texas

Customer Service Rep | December 2013 – August 2016
Started back in the seafood department of another store, as one of the department leads. Assisted in ordering, maintaining product freshness, and assisting customers. Moved to the Entertainment department where I worked to implement an organization method for vendor stocked DVD’s, assisted customers in purchasing basic electronics and accessories, and provided cell phone purchases and upgrades for customers and partners.

Assistant Seafood Manager | January 2013 – December 2013
Completed an 8-week SORM (School of Retail Management) course and became an Assistant Seafood Manager at one of the busiest stores in the company. Worked with the Seafood Manager to schedule partners, order product, and maintain safe food-handling practices.

Customer Service Rep | July 2006 – January 2013
Began as a cashier and bagger before moving into General Merchandise where I worked on restocking shelves, building displays, and assisting customers with needs and questions. Worked in the in-store photo lab processing film and prints for regular and professional photographers. Transferred to Seafood and Produce after the photo lab was closed where I continued to restock items, maintain freshness of products, and assist customers in selecting seafood and produce products.
